- These pieces were originally written by Danny Kovacs for a (church) brass ensemble but the parts can be assigned to and played by other instrument families (strings, woodwinds, etc.).
- The song titles are in Romanian but an English translation is provided.
- Some of the main songs within these pieces are traditional hymns and spiritual songs that are well known within the Christian community. Others are songs that have originated within the Romanian Christian community, often birthed from suffering and having their lyrics based on a prevailing theme (such as eternity, love, faith, etc.).
- All of the introductions, endings, transitions and ancillary melodies are original compositions. Enjoy!
