It helps to answer the question 'Why are we here?' and 'What is our calling?' It's nice when the father or mother knows their role/calling; it's better when the entire family knows!

In fact, it's good to review it and change it, if needed, as everyone gets older (and wiser!). By looking to the future, by God's grace, and the end of things, you can live more purposefully in the present.
