We've made this our home.
Want a cash flowing rental property in Southwest Florida? We're here to help.
Short Story: Hi, we're Danny & Daniela Kovacs. Since 2019, we've been going to Florida for vacations. After my father's passing in 2021, we reassessed our future and lifestyle, especially with our boys growing up so fast. With remote work opportunities, a hot housing market, and several doors that we saw opened after prayer and reflection, we seized the opportunity. By summer of 2022, we owned a rental condo northeast of Naples and a house in Ave Maria. We moved one day after Hurricane Ian landed (feel free to ask!).
The Problem: Like us, many individuals and families think about moving to or investing in Florida, but they don't know how to get started. There are so many things to consider: Where should I buy? How is the cost of living? Are there lots of bugs in the summer? What is the housing market like? Who will take care of the property? The list goes on. The cycle usually continues, especially when winter hits, but with no plan in place, they don't get much past wishful thinking.
Solution: After reflecting on our own experience and considering the challenges we had to face, we've put together a guide that addresses some of the key topics you might be thinking about, beginning with location. We recommend Ave Maria (in SWFL), where we currently live. We have a list of data-backed reasons why you should invest here and lots to share, so we started with this simple guide to fill you in on the essentials (and save you lots of time!).
