Did you know?

​Romania is unique in that it is the only Eastern Block country that speaks a Romance language. Alexandru Niculescu, in his book Outline History of the Romanian Language says, "Romanian is the only Romance language which has developed in the Eastern part of Latin Europe". The history of Romanian can be traced through different periods of outside influence on the language (including the Dacian, Romanization, Slavic, and Re-Latinization periods).

Perspective on Language

In heaven, we will speak neither English or Romanian (or any other earthly language for that matter). That provides some vital perspective. We are more concerned that our children come to salvation, by faith, by means of the language they can understand best. However, it's good to know more than one language as it boosts brain power, increases memory, enhances ability to multi-task, improves performance in other academic/vocational areas, and so on. These simple lessons are especially provided for ​the American-Romanian community.
