A Legacy in the Making: Investing in Our Colorado Retreat
Growing up, Colorado was more than just a vacation spot—it was the highlight of our summers. Every year, our family would pack up and drive from Michigan, Conway Twitty playing on repeat, as we made our way to the mountains. We explored Glenwood Springs, Aspen, Redstone, Colorado Springs, and countless other breathtaking places. Those trips weren’t just about sightseeing; they shaped who I am today. In fact, it was here, at 20 years old, that I had a mountain biking ‘incident’—one that changed my life (ask me about it sometime!).
Years later, after Daniela and I got married, we took an ‘epic’ road trip back to the Rockies, retracing my childhood footsteps. We stayed in the same places I had visited growing up, and in doing so, we created our own unforgettable memories. That trip strengthened our marriage, and years later, we knew we had to pass this tradition on to our own boys. Snowmass became our family’s go-to destination, and every visit deepened our love for Colorado.
In the summer of 2022, our passion for these mountains led us to Cripple Creek. It was there, as we dipped our toes into real estate investing, that we saw an opportunity—not just to own a piece of land but to create something meaningful. We purchased a beautiful 1.1-acre lot with a vision: to build a rental property that doubles as a summer retreat for family and friends. A place where memories can be made, just as they were for us.
Now, we’re looking for the right partner—someone who sees the potential in this investment and wants to be part of something special. With your support, we can bring this vision to life, creating a space that offers both financial returns and an escape into the heart of the Rockies.
